History of Kebrle Stained Glass Studio.

Kebrle Stained Glass Studio has designed and fabricated thousands of stained glass windows worldwide, and is the preeminent studio in the southwest. Works include hundreds of churches, such as St. Michaels and All Angels Episcopal Church in Dallas, First United Methodist Churches in Houston, Duncanville, Hurst, and Denton, St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and St. Jude Catholic Chapel in Dallas, Heights Baptist Church in Richardson, and St. Paul's United Methodist, in Muskogee, OK, just to name a few. In addition to classical painted stained glass, the studio successfully implemented Dalle de Verre, also known as faceted glass, in Zion Lutheran, Spring Valley United Methodist, and Ursuline Academy Chapel, all in Dallas, and also many more. We also were recommended by the Texas Historical Society for the restoration of a turn of the century church in Honeygrove.

The studio designed and fabricated windows for 43 Hard-Rock Cafes around the world including Dallas, Philadelphia, Boston, Cancun, Paris, Berlin, Edenborough, Barcelona, Stockholm, and 7 in Japan. Our works also includes windows for estate residence and homes, universities, hospitals and libraries.

John Kebrle Sr. emigrated to the U.S. in 1913, from a family of Czech artists, and established the studio in 1920. John Kebrle, Jr. received his BA in Art from SMU. John, Irmgard, and John M. currently own and operate the studio in Dallas.
